How many electrons are there in a neutral atom of Lithium?
3
Lithium has an atomic number of 3. So for an atom to be known as a lithium atom, it must have 3 protons. The number of electrons must be the same as the number of protons in the atom for it to be neutrally charged. So the number of electrons should also be 3.
ie., the atomic number of lithium is 3. And hence, in a neutral atom, there would be 3 electrons.
