  1. From I, we have, number of employees who opted for VRS =18% of 950+6% of 1100=171+66=237. SUFFICIENT.
  2. From II, 28% of the employees in the age group of 51 to 56 and 17% of the employees in all other age groups opted for VRS. But we cannot get the required answer until and unless the number of employees in age-group 51 to 56 and other age-groups is known. NOT SUFFICIENT.
  • Hence, the data in statement I alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement II alone not sufficient to answer the question.
