P = 6n + 2 – V

Where,

n = 6 as C2O4-2 consists of six atoms.

V = (4 + 6 + 6 + 4 + 6 + 6) – ( - 2) = 34

P = 6n + 2 – V = 6 x 6 + 2 – 34 = 4
