Solution

Dear Student
The answer to your question is as follows

A light year is a unit of distance. It is the distance that light can travel in one year.Light moves at a velocity of about 300000 kilo meters each second. So,in one year,it can travel about 10 trillion km.More precisely, one light year is equal to 9,500,000,000,000 kilo meters.
1.) It is about 39 light years to go out of the solarsystem. In 2012 Voyager1 had travel and enter into interstellar space.
2.)It is about 26000 light years to go out of our galaxy,The Milky way.
