Open in App
Solution

Step 1: Calculate the Volume

Diameter of a hemispherical bowl=10.5cm

Radius r=10.52

=5.25cm

The volume of the hemispherical bowl

V=23πr3

=23π×5.253

=303.1875cm3

Step 2: Express in litres

We know that

1 litre = 1000cm3

303.1875cm3=0.3031875 litre

0.303 litre

Hence the hemispherical bowl can holds 0.303 litre.
