The correct option is B

Given, Area of the cross-section of the pipe = 5 cm2,

Speed of water flow = 30 cm/sec.

Flow of water in 1 minute = 30 × 60 cm

= 1800 cm

Now, area of the mouth of the cylindrical pipe = 5 cm2

Volume = 1800 ×5=9000cm3

Thus, required volume of water in litres = 9 l [1litre=1000 cm3]
