When pollen mother cell undergoes meiotic division, it produces 4 pollen grains. So, for generation of 100 pollen grain, a number of the division required = 100/4=25. As per question, for 102 pollen grain, number of divisions required = 25 + 1 (produces another 4 pollen grain) = 26
