Solution

The correct option is C 10
The Governing Body is the executive organ of the International Labour Organization. It takes all the policy decisions of the ILO, drafts the agenda of International Labour Conference as well as handles the budget of the ILO. The Director-General of the ILO is also elected by the Governing Body. Having a tripartite structure i.e. representatives from Government, organization and labourers take part in the decision making, the Governing Body has 56 members (28 from Government, 14 each from Employers and Labourers). Ten of the seats in the body are permanent for member countries of industrial importance which are Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Russia, UK and the USA.
