Magnetic separation is the process of separating components of mixtures by using magnets to attract magnetic materials.
Four metallic ores (Cassiterite SnO2​ , Pyrolusite MnO2​ , Rutile TiO2​ and Magnetite Fe3O4​) are concentrated by magnetic separation method.
It is based on the difference in the magntic properties of the ore components.
