Cu2+ + 2 e- --> Cu
2 mole electron is required for 1 mol Cu2+
So for 2 mol Cu2+ , 4 mole electron is required
Conversation of mole of electron to Coulombs of charge= 4 mol * 96485.309 C/mol
=385941.236 Coulomb
=3.85941 * 10^5 Coulomb
Amount of current used= 10 A
( Remember 1A = 1C /sec)
Therefore
Converting into seconds
(3.85941 * 10^5 )/10
=3.85941 * 10⁴ seconds
Converting into minutes,
(3.85941 * 10⁴)/60
= 643.235 minutes
