N1V1=N2V2
Also, N=Number of gram equivalents of soluteVolume of solution (in]L)
So, N×V (in L)=Number of gram equivalents of solute
For NaOH, Equivalent weight=Molar Massnfactor=401
and Number of gram equivalents of solute =Given massequivalent weight=5×140=540
So, N1V1=N2V2
0.25×V1=540
V1=540×0.25=0.5 L=500 mL
