The degree of substitution is a very important factor to determine the stability of alkenes. The more substituted is the alkene, the more stable it is. The structure of A is shown in the figure. The double bond is singly substituted on either side. So, the alkenes in which the double bonds are more substituted than in A are more stable. Their structures are shown in the figure above.
