The mouth, oral cavity, pharynx, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine (duodenum, jejunum, and ileum), large intestine (caecum, colon, and rectum), and anus are the primary sections of the alimentary canal.
The related glands are the salivary glands, the liver, and the pancreas.
