How many persons can be accommodated in a hall of length 16m ,breadth 12.5m , and height 4.5m , assuming that 3.6 m³ of air is required for each person?

Sol:
Given that hall of Length = 16 m, Breadth = 12.5 m, Height = 4.5 m.

∴Volume of the hall = length × breadth × height

= 16 × 12.5 × 4.5

= 900 m3

Volume occupied by 1 man = 3.6 m3

Therefore, number of men that can be accommodated = 900 / 3.6 = 250.
