Circumference = 2πr, where r is the radius of the circular bed.
2πr=30
r=302π
r=4.77 cm
Area of the circular bed = πr2
Area = π×4.772
Area = 3.14×4.772
Area = 71.44 cm2
Number of plants that can be planted in the circular bed
= Area of the circular bedArea occupied by each plant
= 71.44 cm24 cm2
= 17.8618
Therefore, the required numbers of plant is 18.
