Question

How many polynomials can have its zeroes as -2 and 5?

Open in App
Solution

Well it depends on the nature of polynomial.

A quadratic polynomial, that is an eqn of degree 2 can have two roots.

It will be (x+2)(x-5)=0

If your question is specifically about the polynomial which can have only two zeroes, and those being -2 and 5,
your answer is

(x+2)(x-5)=0

But a large number of polynomials can have -2 and 5 as two of their many zeroes.
