Given numbers are 1 and 100

A prime number is a natural number greater than 1 with exactly two factors that is 1 and the number itself.

Consider an example 7, It has two factors 1,7.

The prime numbers between 1 and 100 are: 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31,37,41,43,47,53,59,61,67,71,73,79,83,89,97.

Therefore, the total number of prime numbers between 1 and 100 are 25.
