Question
How many rounds along the boundary of the square park should Alex run, in order to cover 2 km?
Open in App
Solution
Distance covered in each round around the square park= 20 m + 20 m + 20 m + 20 m = 80 m.
We know that 1 km = 1000 m
So, 2 km = 2 x 1000 m = 2000 m.
Alex has to cover 2 km or 2000 m.
So, number of rounds Alex need to run = 2000 ÷ 80 = 25
