We know, area = length X breadth

we know, $20cm=\frac{20}{100}=0.2m$

and area of a square = (side${)}^2(unit{)}^2$

$\therefore$ area of a piece $=(0.2{)}^2=0.04m^2$

$\therefore$ It can be formed $=\frac{48}{0.04}=1200pieces$
