  1. Isomerism in which isomers have various configurations of atoms within the molecule is known as structural isomerism.
  2. The chemical formula remains the same only the physical positions are changed.
  3. C3H7Cl stands for chloropropane and two structural isomers are present due to the difference in position of the chlorine atom.
  4. 1-chloropropane isomer when chlorine atom is attached to first numbered carbon atom.
  5. 2-chloropropane isomer when chlorine atom is bonded to the second numbered carbon.

Therefore, there are two structural isomers present for chloropropane.
