Solution

The correct option is D

17 fully grown trees

For every ton of recycled paper we can save almost 17 fully grown trees. The ratio is an approximation of the actual count but the pulp we are supposed to receive from 17 fully grown trees can produce close to one ton of paper material. So in case we can recycle the same amount of paper material, we are indirectly save 17 fully grown trees from cutting down. The whole idea is to conserve forest and its products. This in the long run can help reduce the greenhouse gas accumulation.
