  4. Electronic configuration of V=1s22s22p63s23p64s23d3 and a plus sign indicates it will lose three electrons i.e. two from 4s orbital and one from 3d orbital.
  5. V+3=1s22s22p63s23p63d2

Therefore, the number of unpaired electrons in VH2O6+3 is 2
