Open in App
Solution

House 2 acquire 6 square grids of area whereas every other house in the locality acquire 4 square grid of area.
Area acquired by house 2 = 6 sq. cm
Area acquired by every other house = 4 sq. cm
Required Area = Area of house 2 - Area of every other house
= 6 sq.cm - 4 sq. cm
= 2 sq. cm
Scale 1 cm = 20 m
Accordingly,
1 cm × 1 cm = 20 m × 20 m
1 sq. cm = 400 sq. m
Therefore House 2 acquired 800 sq.m more area than other houses.
