We have,
CaCO3CaO+CO2

From the above reaction 1 mole of lime stone is producing 1 mole of lime.
molar mass of lime stone = 100g/mol

given mass of lime stone = 400g

so, moles of lime stone = given massmolar mass=400100=4

so, moles of lime produced = 4 moles

molar mass of lime(CaO) = 56g/mol

of massof lime produced = moles×molar mass=56×4=224g
