Solution

A water molecule (H2O) contain no. of proton (np)=8+2×1=10 and so no. of electrons =20
Electroneutrating principle statter state
net positive charge = net negative charge
As L cup of water holder 250 g water,
no. of moles =given massmolar mass=25018=1259moles
1 mol of water contains NA no. of molecular
Total no. of molecular =1259×6.02×1024
=8.361×1024
so, net positive charge present =20×8.361×1024×1.6×1019 (charge of photon)
Q=2.68×107C
Thus, net negative charges presents =Q
=2.68×107C
