How prokaryotic cell is different from eukaryotic cells?

Prokaryotic cell:

  1. Prokaryotic cells are usually small(0.1 – 5.0 μ) compared to other cells.
  2. They do not have an organized nucleus.
  3. The DNA present in the nucleus is clumped in an area but there is no organized nucleus with a membrane.

Eukaryotic cell:

  1. Eukaryotic cells are larger in size(5 – 100 μ).
  2. They have an organized nucleus with a nuclear envelope.
  3. It means they have a true nucleus.
