  1. 'Phanerogams' are plants with well-differentiated reproductive tissues that eventually produce seeds.
  2. Mango, conifers, and banyan dicots are examples of Phanerogams.

Classification of Phanerogamae:

  1. Angiospermae - Angiospermae is blooming plants with seeds contained within their fruit. Examples: Maize, rice, potato and wheat.
  2. Gymnospermae - Gymnospermae lack flowers and fruits, instead of relying on bare seeds on the surface of their leaves. Examples: Pinus, Cycas and Deodar.
