How sulpher dioxide became sulphuric acid(I thought the dangerous)

Dear student,

Sulphuric acid can be prepared from sulphur dioxide by reacting with oxygen and water in the presence of a catalyst. The chemical equation is are as follows:
S + O2 (g) --> SO2

2 SO2 (g) + O2 (g) --> 2 SO3
SO3 + H2O --> H2SO4
