Solution

The age of fossils can be calculated in two ways;
Some include;
1.RELATIVE DATING:Calculate the approximate age of the sedimentary rock from which the fossils has been derived.
2.RADIOMETRIC DATING;This involves calculating using half life of radioactive isotopes in the fossils.

-RADIOACTIVE DECAY;It is the process by which an unstable atomic nucleus loses energy by losing radiations.
