Solution

Hypothyroidism is caused when there is reduced secretion of thyroxine hormone in body.It haappens due to deficiency of iodine in water and food.It can never be transmitted by sharing anything or kissing or hugging. But sometomes it gets genetic and can be transferred from mother to foetus.

Hypothyroidism isn't airborne or contagious, as most of the causes are genetic. A person with hypothyroidism can't pass the disease to someone else like a cold is passed from one person to another.
