Find the percentage of marks.
Formula $Marks (%) = \frac{Obtained Marks}{Total Marks} \times 100$
Example: If marks obtained are $360$ out of $500$ , then calculate percentage of obtained marks?
Marks percentage
$= \frac{360}{500} \times 100 = \frac{360}{5} = 72 %$
Therefore, this is the way to calculate percentage.
