Question

How to convert 2040 J/kg/Centigrate into J/Kg/kelvin

Open in App
Solution

There will be no change....it will be 2040 J/kg/k

they are the same because specific heat capacity is defined as the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of 1 kg of substance by 1 degree C/ 1 Kelvin, which is the temperature difference and not temperature. So it doesn't matter if you use per degree C (or K ) rise of temperature.
