Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

For a right angled triangle, you can use the Pythagorus theorem to find its altitude given the other two sides.

Altitude of the equilateral triangle is 32a
Where a is the side of the equilateral triangle.

Height of an isosceles triangle is a2-b24
Where a is the side and b is the base.

Height of the scalene triangle can be calculated as 2Ab
Where A is the area of the triangle and b is the base of the triangle.
