A cuboid having all the dimension to be equal length is known as cube. Consider the dimension of a cube be $"a"$ then the volume of a cube is given as

Step 2: Determine the volume of a cuboid

A cuboid having all the dimension to be of different length is known as cuboid. Consider the dimension of a cuboid be $"a"$ the length, $"b"$ the breadth and $"h"$ the height then volume of a cuboid is given as

$\mathrm{Volume}\mathrm{of}\mathrm{Cuboid}=a\times b\times h=a·b·h$

Hence, the volume of a cube is $a^3$ and the volume of a cuboid is $a·b·h$.
