The classification of solid as crystalline and amorphous can not be determined by looking at the solid as it can identified as crystalline and amorphous by there melting point.
crystalline solid have sharp melting point whereas amorphous solids soften over a range of temperature.

Benzoic acid and naphthalene balls are crystalline solid.
