Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

The Area of the following geometric figures can be find if the measure of the sides or radius is given.

1. Rectangle
if length L is given and Breadth B is given then area
A=L×B
2. Square
As sides of square are equal, if are given the length of side S
Area S×S

3. Triangle

if length of base and perpendicular of triangle is given then area of triangle
Area =12×b×h
in case all sides of a triangle are equal, then it is an equilateral triangle.
Area=34×(side)2

4. Circle
if radius r is given of the circle.
Area=πr2
