Here x = 10 cm 1. Draw a line and take a point A on it. Now take another pooint B on it from point A at a distance of 10 cm 2. Take another point C at 1 cm distance from point B. 3. Now do perpendiculat bisector of line AC 4. Tking O as centre and OA as radius, draw circle which passes from point C. 5. make 90° angle at point B which intersect circle at point D. 6. taking B as centre and BD as radius, draw circle which intersect line AC produced at point E. 7 BE is the required distance (√10 cm)
