Italy under Mussolini's Fascism:
(a) Acquiring the reins, Benito Mussolini integrated all power under his command. The king was only titular head of the nation.
(b) Opposing political parties were banned. Those who opposed his policies were put behind bars.
(c) The freedom of press was also weakened.
(d) Mussolini helped the common people to improve their financial conditions by implementing various warfare programmes.
(e) Industrial development was boosted. Education system was used for spreading the ideology of Fascism.
(f) Mussolini started to expand the Italian empire from 1923 onwards.
(g) The aggressive policy of Mussolini endangered the peace and harmony of Europe.
