The king was the most powerful person in the Solanki administration. Various ministers used to oversee the various kingdom departments. Mahamatya, the most significant minister, was in charge of the finance division, or shreekaran. Mandals were the most important administrative departments.

The Solanki kingdom's capital lay on the banks of the Saraswati river. Due to this, it is referred to as the Saraswati mandal.

Kutch Mandal, Saurashtra mandal, Khetak Mandal, Laat Mandal, and Medpaat Mandal are the names of the mandals that were in existence during the period.
Mandal's subdivision was called Pathak. Pathaks included a large number of villages.
