How we can hear sound around us? Explain in detail !

Dear Student
We hear sound when our ear detect sound. Ear detect sound waves produced by an object. When an object vibrates it produces wave by pushing surrounding air. The vibrations cause the air to expand and compress. As a result a sound wave is produced. This sound waves are detected by our ear.
