Open in App
Solution

Dear StudentThe process used to separate cream from milk is Centrifugation.(i) Milk is a suspension of tiny droplets of cream in a watery liquid. (ii) The milk is then put in a close container, which is then placed in a big centrifuge machine. (iii) The milk is rotated at a very high speed in its container.(iv) While rotating, the centrifugal force acts on the milk.(v) Due to the centrifugal force, the milk get separated into cream and skimmed milk. (vi) The cream floats over the skimmed milk, as cream is lighter than milk and then cream can be removed.Regards
