Pericarp is made up of mainly three layers- epicarp, mesocarp and endocarp.
Epicarp is the outermost part which forms the tough skin of the fruit.
Mesocarp is the fibrous part of the coconut.
Endocarp is the inner part of the coconut which forms the covering for the seed. It can be either membranous or woody.
