Question

how weight of a body can be zero during a free fall?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,
To experience the weightlessness, the acceleration of falling body should have acceleration equal to or more than that of acceleration due to gravity (g). In a freely falling body, acceleration is produced due to acceleration due to gravity hence the produced acceleration is equal to g.

Thus, freely falling body experiences weightlessness.
