Due to global warming, agricultural production is likely to increase in some regions and decline in others. The regions that were deemed suitable for agriculture from a climatic point of view may now face a decline and vice versa. However, the soil in regions that will become suitable for agriculture, might not be suitable for crop production. This might affect food production adversely.
