Mars Orbiter Mission, also known as Mangalyaan was launched by ISRO to explore the features of planet Mars, mineralogy, atmosphere etc using advanced scientific instruments. The main objective of MOM is to explore Mars surface features, morphology and mineralogy and Martian atmosphere by indigenous scientific instruments. Hence, this mission aims to solve the environmental concerns.
