How will the position of balance point in the potentiometer will be affected if, (I) current in the potentiometer be increased, (ii) length of the potentiometer wire be doubles?

i) If the current in potentiometer is increased it means voltage across it also increased (Ohm's law) potential gradient increases but the value of EMF is constant so balancing length should decrease

2) If length of potentiometer be doubled potential gradient decreases as $k\propto \frac{1}{l}(V=constant)$ but value of EMF is constant so balancing length should increase.
