How will the rate of evaporation be affected if the density of the liquid is increased.? Why ?
A substance having a very high density evaporates very slowly as a considerable amount of energy is required to convert it into gases. In other words, atoms in high density substance require more energy to escape as a gas.
On the other hand, substance with low density evaporates fast as compared to anothers. This is due to high energy levels in them. They require less energy to evaporate as gas.
