  1. We can determine whether a given mirror is plane, convex or concave by analyzing the images formed by these mirrors.
  2. Plane mirror: If the image is upright and is of the same size as that of the object and its size does not change size as we move the mirror.
  3. Concave mirror: If the mirror forms an erect image as we move the mirror close to us and forms an inverted image when we move the mirror away from us.
  4. Convex mirror: If the image is erect and smaller in size and as we move the mirror away the size of the image decrease.
