Question

How will you differentiate between the convex lens and concave lens i) A distant object ?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,A convex lens brings together the parallel beam of light coming from a distant object, while the concave lens disperses the parallel beam of light coming from distant object. So all the light rays meet, i.e. point of convergence at focus for the convex lens, but for the concave lens, the focal point is the point from where the light rays seem to diverge, i.e. point of divergence.Regards
