The diameter of a ball is measured as follows-

1. To measure the diameter of a spherical ball using metre scale is not possible and difficult.
2. Place the ball between two blocks tightly on a flat surface, whose diameter is to be measured.
3. The distance between the inner edges of the block gives the diameter of the spherical object.
4. Measure the distance using a metre scale.
